The PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) highlights your ability to identify and assess project risks, mitigate threats

and capitalize on opportunities.

It acknowledges the individual’s unique expertise on the project team while demonstrating the recognition and value the role

provides to the project management profession. In this role, an individual has more competence in the specialized area of

assessing and identifying project risks while mitigating threats and capitalizing on opportunities than a general practitioner

and yet, also maintains a basic level of competence in all areas of project management.

PREREQUISITES

There is no requirement for this course.

However, to sit for the official PMI-RMP certification exam, candidates must satisfy the following educational and professional

experience requirements:


(A) Degree Holder:


At least 3,000 hours spent in the specialized area of professional project risk management within the last five consecutive

years

30 contact hours of formal education in the specialized area of project risk management.

This course qualifies for 30 Contact Hours of formal project risk management education, satisfying the Project Management

Institute PMI-RMP Exam requirement.


(B) Diploma Holder:


At least 4,500 hours spent in the specialized area of professional project risk management within the last five consecutive

years

40 contact hours of formal education in the specialized area of project risk management

Domain 3: Risk Analysis

  •  Perform Qualitative Analysis
