Strategic Key Account Management
COURSE OVERVIEW
Managing a key account is more than securing the next transaction. In today’s highly competitive B2B environment, sales managers must move beyond transactional selling and develop strategic relationships that protect, grow, and strengthen their most valuable accounts.
Large accounts are constantly influenced by changing business priorities, new competitors, organizational changes, technology, internal politics, and evolving customer expectations. Without a clear account strategy, even long-standing relationships can become vulnerable.
Strategic Key Account Management is a two-day program designed to equip B2B Sales Managers with the strategies and practical tools needed to manage high-value accounts strategically, strengthen customer relationships, identify risks and opportunities, influence key stakeholders, and develop long-term profitable partnerships.
The program shifts the focus from “winning the next deal” to “winning and protecting the account.” Participants will learn how to analyze their accounts, understand the customer's business, map decision-makers and influencers, develop internal sponsors, manage anti-sponsors, anticipate competitive threats, and create actionable account growth strategies.
Duration: 2 days / 16 hours
Delivery Method: Classroom-based, Virtual Instructor Led Training
